Ouch (or, To Stacey)

Got my second tattoo today. Damn, it hurts like a m***** f*****. I had forgotten (like a woman forgetting labor pains, I suppose). It makes me sad that I missed sharing my friend Stacey's experience (I forget why now -- all I remember was that it was a stupid reason). Having a friend with you makes it go much better. :( Sorry, Stacey!

Coincidentally, Stacey gave me a really fun t-shirt today. The front says, "Careful, or you'll end up in my novel." Heh. :) Thanks so much!

Later: Per matriarchal request, a photo of the new artwork. I'm showing it upside down because that is how it appears to me. My first tattoo is on the right-hand side. The first one was "upside down," because it was for me. This one (and the next one) are more about me and the outside world, so they will be "right side up." Also, I thought it would be cool if they switched orientation.

I'm glad you like the shirt. Next time we get Tats we'll go together - sorry I didn't think of that today. I think the first tat you got was on a less sensitive location as pants and skirts rub that spot all the time. Also, the bit about the labor pains - shameless ploy by mothers wishing to exact revenge on woman who haven't had children yet. I'd have to be comatose to not remember 3 days worth of labor; it makes me want to have a drink right now!

Yes, Mummy. [/zombie gaze]
I'm waiting until the redness goes down and it's settled in a bit better.

No problem, Stacey. I think it actually hurts the same as last time, I just didn't remember. Later, it felt more familiar -- the bad sunburn feel.
I have my third planned for the spring, after I finish the ARE. It was planned for the same time as this one, but I need some more time to work on it. I'll let you know in advance this time. :)

So what is it?? I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures!! I just had one of mine touched up. I think I'm going to have the one on my lower back replaced eventually as well.
