Said by me during a conversation (about trust) with a friend:
"[Being friends with] Anyone is a crapshoot, just some more than others."

It's true.

I envision it as a two-way street. And as soon as you're the only traffic, then it's time to reconsider the friendship. Most of us don't have the time or the energy to do ALL the work!

Glad you filed it under "cryptic posts".

I, for one, am glad to count you as a new friend. Even though I've been neglectful as heck lately. :P

I agree on the two way street. And sometimes there's a lot more traffic one way than the other - but over time, it balances out.

Nicely cryptic. Well said. :)

You never know who is going to stab you in the back tomorrow. The answer always surprises the heck out of me.

I'm pretty oblivious, so stabbing in the back generally goes unnoticed (by me). I've probably got knife marks all over my back.

What's painful is feeling like you've been stabbed in the front.
