Crabby Day

I hereby declare today "Crabby Day," a day when people may be crabby bitches, beeyotiches, or bastards if they feel like it, without it counting against them in the final accounting of things (with a scale, a la the Egyptians).

It's just one of those days.

(You know. The kind where you have the intention to do the right thing, and then it's rebuffed or falls through or just doesn't turn out how you intended.)

Getting 5K in before work will help your mood with that ol' endorphin boost. :p

:P

(Admittedly, you're right. I skipped the gym this morning for specious reasons and who knows how I might have felt if I had. I don't *think* I sense those endorphins, but that doesn't mean I don't get a boost that I'm too used to to notice.)

Sorry, John, the 5K doesn't do that for me. Good book or Good Friends and a glass of wine however, are always winners.

Thank goodness it's crabby day. I drove Stephanie back and we got in at 3am and got up at 9am so I'm officially deprived and have about 100 people who want to see me in the next 2.5 days

The 5K doesn't do it for me either. However, a good yoga round with 30 min meditation might...

I think on crabby day we ought to be able to indulge in crab for dinner, as a treat. King crab, crab cakes, crab, swiss & avocado omelet, crab Cobb salad, crab melt on sourdough, something...

I hope your day improves, Anne and Stacey. :)

I just intend to start drinking right after work.

That'll take care of it...

Yes. Yes, I think that'll do the trick.

I'll be drinking with you in spirit, Janiece.

Oooh, "in spirit" = spirits = alcohol! Punny!

I had my Crabby Day last week. Actually it was more like a week and a half spread with varying levels of crabbiness. Luckily it all came to a sudden decisive end when the assistant director had a talking-to with the involved parties...

Interesting. I actually decided to "work" from home today because I knew it was going to be a bad day. Glad to hear it was universal! HA!

Stacey - it was very disconcerting to hear you say you have a twenty-something year old daughter. I thought you weren't much older than that - and I'm not sucking up, I'm serious. :)

Hope today is better.

I'm running short on sleep, so I fear today may be my crabby day.

Jeri,
You are too kind. It was so good to meet you. Crabby day actually ended with a beer and some good food with my daughter, a friends daughter and one of my ski buddies, so although it started badly, it actually had a good ending.

Dang it! I missed crabby day.

Well, crap, that makes me crabby.

And unlike Janiece, I intended to start drinking before work. :)

Jim - I hope today's work only involves the keyboard, and not the bandsaw. ;-)
