Not So Bon Mots

- When your vacuum cleaner is crappy, does it suck or not suck?

- Cat hair will one day consume the world, like some kind of fluffy kudzu.

- True friends are like sunshine.

- Someone needs to help me eat these brownies.

I will! I will!
I will help you eat them.

Um...the brownies, not the cat hair..cause that would be just..well gross.

Ummmm, brownies. And cat hair regularly consumes my apartment. It annoys me, but not enough to trade the boys.

Vacuums that don't work don't suck.

Vacuums that do work, do suck.

When we drive by the Hoover plant, we must yell, "THEY SUCK!"

If cat hair is going to consume the world one day, I imagine it could help you eat the brownies now. Two birds, one stone.

A cynic might say true friends are like sunshine: they vanish at the first sign of bad weather. Then again, Ambrose Bierce observed that cynics see things as they are and not as they should be, hence the alleged custom among the Scythians of plucking out a cynic's eyes to improve his vision.

Eric, ouch! That's harsh - I'm all for plucking out the eyes! I've always felt that cynicism is unpardonable.

Don't worry all - Anne was over to my place last night and we helped her get rid of the brownies . . . I know, I know . . . all in a days work for a sister. ;-)

Hey - How did Mary and I miss out on Brownies?

It was good to see you yesterday.

Sunshine doesn't vanish with bad weather, it's always there above the clouds. :P

Because you didn't say you were hungry. ;)

Sorry, I just didn't think of it.
