Two Items:

Dumb made up word heard today: "automagically" (won't say where, to protect the innocent, but seriously people!)

For the record: I did not realize a small detail changed in a Facebook account would generate that kind of response. Nothing to see here... move along.

Why so eager to keep it under covers?

Not keeping it under cover, just feeling self-conscious about broadcasting.

automagically is how my computer works. I think it's an excellent word.

I know what you mean -- with the sort of buzz FB draws, aren't you just the littlest bit surprised that you weren't featured on Access Hollywood that night?! ;)

Heh. Blame Facebook for its practice of loudly proclaiming all changes to your profile. ;)

And "automagically" has been in use for at least a decade.

We can broadcast for you if you like!

Automagically is a Word of Power in computer geekdom. It even has it's own entry in the jargon file:

When you put something on FB people automagically think you want them to comment on it . . . but really, just bask in the glow of people being happy for you. :-)

LOL, nice tie together, MG. :D

I did not know that "automagically" is a well established word. Wow! People have been using silly words for longer than I'd realized. [shakes head]

And thanks for the sentiments, guys. I am happy that you're happy that I'm happy. ;)
