Over the weekend, I had a great time decorating a cake with my future SIL, Jenn. I'll post about it soon, but I need her to send me the pictures she took. In the meantime, here's a UCF Internet Meme that I thought looked fun. Unfortunately, though I have some great old photos, they are not digitalized and I don't have access to a scanner, so I'll post one that my brother posted recently on Facebook.
This is me and my brother and sister. Can you tell we grew up in the sticks? I'm not sure our ages at this point. I'll let my mum chime in on that one if she chooses to.
Other UCFers who have participated:
Jeri (originator of the meme)
Janiece (*fabulous* photo of her graduation from bootcamp)
Michelle (like my sister, is a brunette who was blonde as a child)
and Kim (who used to show award-winning dogs and would therefore adore my older sister's entire dog-showing family)
Added the next day:
My wonderful mum sent me the following photos
From the same "photo shoot" (family walk) as the previous one.
This is me and my mum when I was around 3 or so. The horse is Willie and later in life, I learned to ride on him.
Added later:
Jim Wright has bowed to the peer pressure and posted some childhood pics of his own. Towheaded hellions, I imagine the Wright brothers to be.

Ninish, sevenish, and fourish. You have all the good photos. Remember you were given your album. Non-digitized. :-(
I love all of the photos Anne! Thank you for sharing.
Yes - I'm working on digitizing my photos (hence the piles of photos in my office that have been there for months and months).
Fun times - those nature walks. :-)
Aileen, I'm tempted to say that in exchange for letting me use your scanner to do the same with my pics, I'd help you with yours. However, I have approximately 253 projects lined up to work on while I have this "free time" so I'll put that in my back pocket to suggest later on. ;)
lol - yes, this seems to be on my list of 3 projects on the to-do list that have been sitting around for EVER! FYI - I'm planning on sharing my pic files once I get everything scanned in as well. In fact, I'm pretty sure Max got that picture from me, since I know I scanned that in. :-)
Is the road in the background of the horse photo Trego, near where it meets 67?
Our farm *was* on Trego, about a mile from the intersection with 67, but that photo was not taken there. It was in Dickerson, MD. We moved to the Trego farm when I was 6. (Prior to that, we lived in Dickerson and Brunswick, and briefly, in Bismark, ND.)
I love the pictures. They bring back some great memories of playing at your farm.
