Soccer Bummer
It's confirmed -- our soccer team was dropped back to the D league. I think they exchange the bottom team of the C league (us) with the top team of the D league (us the season before last) in order to give teams a chance to move up if they're doing well. It's a big bummer, 'cause the games will be easier. Oh well. Maybe the season after next we'll have another shot at staying in the C league.

I thought that you would have to play a whole season to confirm your status. What if you had suddenly improved a lot towards the end? I don't understand the rules...
We did play a whole season and we lost a lot. We won one game and placed 6th (last) in the playoffs.
I was hoping we'd get a second season to prove ourselves too, but think of it this way -- whichever team that placed first in the D league deserves a shot at the C league too.
now that's a great way to look at it!
