Here is a brief description on what comes to
my mind when I contemplate "the power of positive thinking ." THAT is what I work towards in daily life and sometimes fall short of. The other, controversial, results of positive thinking are secondary and incidental. If they happen, great. If not, I still get the primary benefits, which is what I intended in the first place.

GREAT article, Anne -- thank you for sharing! (I paid it forward via Facebook & Twitter.)
I'm totally in agreement with what Hax wrote about optimism going hand-in-hand with vulnerability and humility. After finally coming up with my New Year's resolution (be nice), I found this article really helpful in pinpointing the challenges I face in 2010 as I put my nice, optimistic foot forward. :)

Interestingly enough, Jen, I have heard others state a similar resolution. Mine is a version of that, only directed inward instead of outward. :)
