It works like a charm and it's pretty instantaneous. While I don't have any stuffiness or congestion in my head (right now), I can feel it all draining into my tummy (which is making me feel sick to my stomach, of course).Mummy Grabillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16334034298962491582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889198.post-2583916158036574962008-03-13T18:26:00.000-06:002008-03-13T18:26:00.000-06:00Both my wife and I having survived something simil...Both my wife and I having survived something similar back in December and January, the best advice I can give for an OTC product is Mucinex DM with the cough suppressant. It definitely helps keep things unclogged.voyagerinmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13616388794586342188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889198.post-20047075078393414082008-03-13T14:18:00.000-06:002008-03-13T14:18:00.000-06:00Well, since I only sit on my shirt tails, it doesn...Well, since I only sit on my shirt tails, it doesn't much bother me. :)Random Michelle Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13817444379694818074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889198.post-54162020299369159492008-03-13T13:49:00.000-06:002008-03-13T13:49:00.000-06:00I'm finally coming out of it so don't worry, the e...I'm finally coming out of it so don't worry, the end is nigh!belsumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06943795389862466294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889198.post-74598592048442913582008-03-13T09:51:00.000-06:002008-03-13T09:51:00.000-06:00Michelle,Good advice. A lot. Every time you touch a door knob or public telephone or any kind of communal property, you're being exposed to cooties. Even if it makes you feel like a doofus, open the door from the bathroom with a paper towel. We've all seen the hand washing habits of the general public. Think about that as you touch (or not) public doorknobs. (I always wear long untucked and unbuttoned shirts, so I can surreptitiously use my shirt tails to open doors.)

Second, keep hydrated. This helps your nose keep out the bugs, and is also good for your general health. And what is good for your general health is good for your immune system.

Third, get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep can suppress the immune system, and then you're done for.

Do that and you can help yourself keep healthy even while those around you are dropping like flies.

This public health announcement comes from someone who can't afford to get sick, because her grandmother lives with her. Because when you're 90, the flu tends to be deadly.Random Michelle Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13817444379694818074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889198.post-73323239599383849672008-03-13T08:36:00.000-06:002008-03-13T08:36:00.000-06:00Well - I've got it now too and Brian is starting t...Well - I've got it now too and Brian is starting to come down with it as well.
