I too, have the advantage of having experienced some of the material, but they put it to you in a certain way and expect an answer in a certain way. I have a masters in math and had been teaching for many years in my field. But for me to move to the high school, I had to take the stupid praxis exams. The knowledge test was the hardest and that was mostly b/c I didn't study on trigonometry like I should have and the other test was asking me that if this situation occured in your classroom, what would you do....Majority of them I had already worked through in my classroom.
